About PAAMG

Formed in 1992, Providence Anchorage Anesthesia Medical Group (PAAMG) is a private anesthesia practice. As surgical services to Alaskans have grown and Providence Alaska Medical Center expanded its service to our community, so has PAAMG. Starting with eight anesthesiologists, we have grown into a diverse group of anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA’s). We provide safe, modern, and high-quality anesthesia to our patients as we grow in service to our community.

We remain committed to providing each patient the personal, direct care that they need during anesthesia.

Unlike many anesthesia groups, we have built teams of cardiovascular, pediatric, and acute pain expertise to augment the general anesthesia team’s skills in serving the community. We serve our community with members of these teams on call 24/7. This makes us the leader in anesthesia subspecialty expertise in our community. This complements the surgical subspecialty and inpatient services found at Providence Alaska Medical Center and sets us apart in our capacity​ to serve Alaskans.

PAAMG’s team is highly trained and qualified. Many have additional expertise in anesthesia sub-specialties such as pediatrics, cardiovascular, and pain therapy. They have been administering anesthetics at Providence Alaska Medical Center since 1992.
